Module Management

Udyot is modular — you switch on only the parts your business needs. Module Management is where the account owner or admin enables or disables modules like Inventory, HR & Payroll, CRM, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, keeping the app focused and uncluttered for your team.

Before you begin

You must be an owner or admin. Open Settings → Modules. Which modules are available depends on your subscription plan.

Turning a module on or off — step by step

  1. Open Settings → Modules to see every module and its status.
  2. Toggle a module on or off.
  3. Enabled modules appear in the menu and dashboard immediately; disabled ones are hidden and their pages return a friendly “not available” message.

How modules relate

Some modules build on others (for example, Manufacturing relies on Inventory). Udyot checks these dependencies, so you cannot disable a module that another active module needs without being warned.

Per-company control

If you run several companies under one subscription, you can enable different modules for each — a trading company might use Inventory and Accounting only, while a factory adds Manufacturing and SCM.

Tips & common questions

Will disabling a module delete my data? No — it only hides the module. Re-enable it and your data is exactly as you left it.

A module I want isn’t available — why? It may not be included in your current plan. See Choosing a Plan.
