Renewals, Grace Period and Invoices
Keeping your Udyot subscription active is straightforward. This guide covers renewals, what happens around your expiry date, the grace period, and where to find your subscription invoices.
Renewing your subscription
To renew or extend, open Billing, select your plan (or a new one), and submit a payment the same way as your first activation (see Making a Payment & Activation). When the payment is verified, your expiry date is extended by the billing term.
Expiry and the grace period
- Expiring soon: As your expiry date approaches, Udyot shows a reminder banner so you can renew in good time.
- Grace period: If you pass the expiry date, a short grace period keeps you working while you arrange payment.
- After grace: If the subscription is still unpaid, access is locked to the billing screen with a clear renew option. Your data is safe — it is never deleted; you simply renew to restore access.
Cancelling auto-renewal
You can choose not to renew. Your subscription remains active until its current expiry date, after which it lapses. Your data remains available to export for a period after lapse (see Data Backup and Export).
Subscription invoices
Every verified payment produces a VAT-compliant subscription invoice with a sequential number. View, print, or download them any time from your billing history.
If your account is suspended
If your provider suspends an account (for example, for a billing or compliance issue), you will see a lock screen explaining the reason and how to get back in. This is separate from normal expiry.
Tips & common questions
Will I lose data if I let it expire? No. Locking only restricts access — your books and records are retained. Renew to unlock everything exactly as it was.
