Vendor Management and Scorecard
Every supplier in Udyot can have a vendor profile and a performance scorecard, so your purchasing decisions are based on facts — not just on who called last. This is where you keep vendor contact details, payment terms, and a running record of how each supplier actually performs.
Before you begin
Suppliers exist as Sundry Creditor ledgers. Open SCM → Vendors to add or edit a vendor profile.
What the scorecard measures
- On-time delivery — how reliably the vendor meets promised dates.
- Quality — accepted vs rejected quantities from goods receipts.
- Price competitiveness — from RFQ responses.
- Total spend — your purchase volume with this vendor.
Subcontractor scorecard
If you outsource production, the Subcontractor Scorecard (in Manufacturing) rates job-work vendors on yield (finished goods per unit of raw material), turnaround time between receipts, and total processing spend. See Subcontracting & Job Work.
Tips & common questions
How does the score update? It is recalculated from your real transactions — goods receipts, RFQ responses, and job-work receipts — so it stays current automatically.
